Two of my favorite LP’s on my collection: Nina Nastasia & Jim White You Follow Me, and PJ Harvey ‘s White Chalk.
Everytime I hear the last one I think the same thing: I can only dream what Jim White (from Dirty Three) could have done on White Chalk if the drums were on him…
Don’t get me wrong I love White Chalk (and this is big considering I don’t like her other stuff that much), but I think White Chalk could reach the sublime state with Jim White. There I’ve said it.
